Today started the 3 day long Vác World Festival. Due to my work in the capital I wasn't able to be there at the start, however I decided to see at last the street party on Friday.

Today, due to the constructions done by the train-station next to our house we had a blackout from 8 am till 4 pm. Those freaking idiots did not have the guts to give out a notice to the residents of our street that there will be an all-day blackout... on a Sunday... in the winter-time ( Read more... )

Actually I could only check out the festival Saturday afternoon - on Sunday morning (like, elevenish) it was to early / hot, nothing was open from the bazaar, and no programs either. And as I could already guess my Mom was tired and did not want to check the festival in the evening.

Okay, so yesterday...

First of all I worked overtime - yes, on a Saturday. It can happen.

Today most of the time I spent pitting cherries, we picked from the garden. You know it's just one tree, but the amount is really unbelievable. Somehow one branch gave one bucket. We were all quite surprised.
But it's thanks to that that I made a cherry-pie. Really tasty. ^^
